HONORARY/ADVISORY BOARD BEING ESTABLISHED!
FORMER MD. GOVERNOR AND FORMER SECRETARY OF THE NAVY
TO CO-CHAIR.

It has been tentatively confirmed that both Governor Schafer and SECNAV Bill Middendorf will be co-chairing the key advisory board of the USS Forrestal Museum, Inc.   Mr. John Lehman (Ex-SECNAV) will serve as Special Counsel to the Board.

Additionally, both US Congressmen Ehrlicht and Cardin are tentatively penciled in as well as former Congresswoman Helen Delich Bentley.  We have confirmed Mr. Bill Natter, a developer in the area and brother to CINCPACFLT.  Bill has already been a major asset in analyzing property potentials in the region.  Another key member of the Advisory Board, Cas Taylor, has been Maryland Speaker of the House.  Cas has already requested the economic study as soon as it is off the press.  More key people will be announced shortly.

JOINT VENTURE PROPOSED BY CHAMBERLIN, INC.
DEVELOPER PROPOSES A DEAL TO ACQUIRE SITE
WITH FORRESTAL GROUP

John Chamberlin, President of Chamberlin, Inc., has proposed to the Forrestal Museum a plan to acquire a site in Baltimore.  By the formation of a business consortium, with the Forrestal Museum being the centerpiece of the "theme", certain financial arrangements would be offered to deliver the ship to Baltimore and establish her place in the world of naval heritage museums.

Mr. Chamberlin has long been aquatinted with the efforts of the Forrestal Museum.  Additionally, he brings great depth in the FAR requirements, as he previously worked at NAVSEAS.  he knows where the "bodies are buried" in that department to help us in our efforts of acquisition.
